Climate Star is an organization that fights global warming through social and legislative activism. She is also Entertainment Industry Foundation ambassador. As an Entertainment Industry Foundation ambassador she works with QVC to spread awareness and raise funds for women’s cancer research through the “Fashion Footwear Association” of New York “Shoes on Sale Initiative” and is also involved in the “SAFE” (Skin Awareness for Everyone) campaign for skin cancer awareness. Mischa Barton also lends her name to the TRAID campaign (Textile Recycling for Aid and International Development) in association with Visa Swap. Mischa Barton is also the ambassador for Save The Children and One Water. She is also a board member of Los Angeles based Lupus Research Committee.
