Born in New York on June 10, 1983. Liliane Rudabet Gloria Elsveta Sobieski caught the attention of a casting agent. He noticed her while scouting the cafeteria of a New York City private school. He asked Leelee Sobieski to audition for a role in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994). Leelee Sobieski lost the role to Kirsten Dunst, but that didn’t stop her.

When Leelee Sobieski was 13, she co-starred in the TV movie Reunion, which aired in 1994 with Marlo Thomas. Next year Leelee Sobieski starred in A Horse for Danny . Even though she did quite a few roles in many films, she hit the big time in 1998, when she did Deep Impact starring opposite Elijah Wood. Deep Impact got Leelee great reviews and brought her to the attention of many casting directors. Then she did Joan of Arc, which was shot in the Czech Republic.  Leelee Sobieski got an Emmy nomination for Deep Impact.

In Eyes Wide Shut, which was shot under strict secrecy by the notoriously reclusive Stanley Kubrick, had Leelee cast as a teenage nymphet who tempts Cruise’s character. Eyes Wide Shut didn’t turn out to be quite the summer blockbuster as it was expected to be. Leelee Sobieski, did however, get some good reviews. While shooting the film she developed a friendship with Stanley Kubrick and was heartbroken when he died soon after its completion.

Leelee also starred with Drew Barrymore in Never Been Kissed, Diane Lane in The Glass House and Josh Hartnett & Chris Klein in Here on Earth.

Mischa Barton also lends her name to the TRAID campaign (Textile Recycling for Aid and International Development) in association with Visa Swap. Elizabeth Hurley, the hot and gorgeous model and actress, will be producing organic foods. Most of the products, which would be all but fat free, that will be offered will be sourced from her 400-acre bio-dynamic farm located in Gloucestershire, where she stays with husband Arun Nayar and son Damian, 6.  She will be also launching her own cook book to accompany the products.

When speaking to the Red magazine, Elizabeth Hurley said, “I’ve just made an arrangement with a very good organic food producer and we’re going to do some products together.”

She also had this to add, ”What I really, really want to do is pre-packaged meals. Fabulous versions that are delicious, healthy, not too expensive and very low in fat. So, that’s my big dream, because there’s a massive hole in the market for that.”
